Audrey Hepburn: portraits of an Icon

Cult! This fascinating photographic exhibition illustrates the life of the divine actress and fashion icon Audrey Hepburn. The exhibition counts 35 clichés from her early years as a chorus girl to her incredible career as a model and actress.

Her philanthropic work and her fashion career (Givenchy icon) but also her active work as UNICEF ambassador from 1988 till her very last year made her so famous that Audrey Hepburn has become one of the most photographed and recognisable star of the 20th century. This exclusive retrospective is opening the doors to a new face of the icon.

Our favourite cliché is a picture of her at the age of 13, in the middle of a dance lesson, but also the ones taken by big photography names like Irving Penn or Richard Avedon.

We are completely crazy about: the pictures taken backstage of the movies like Sabrina (1954) and Life’s cover on which she wears the unforgettable Givenchy dress worn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s in 1961.

The must? Treating yourself with the book: an amazing collection of 145 portraits (hardback £29,95, paperback £19,95).

Audrey Hepburn, Portraits of an Icon, until October 18th. Everyday from 10am to 6pm, Thursday and Friday until 9pm.
