Good news! We found the only drinks market in London: Hackney Drinks Market is the only one of its kind and is full of the best local producers.
HDM is considered as the "Drinks Columbia Road" and puts the spotlights on the local scene. There are more than 30 stands featuring distillery, sodas and coffees but also a large range of fresh juices. Howling hops, Signature Brew Hiver, Gosnell's Mead, East London Liquor Company, 58 Gin Grude Juice, The Pickle House and Square Soda: all of these drinks are for sale, and can be tasted to check which one is the best !
Who is behind all this? Max Kennedy made this possible. Every first Saturday of the month the market is set up in a tiny little street of the famous Village Green. For the lunch the team distilled its own Gin, how cool is this ?
If you need a break and want some food, you'll find some homemade pork scratchings but also the team of the experimental US barbecue, some charcuterie and cheese of course! What an amazing and tasty spot!!
